Checkout Hasta Home’s Diverse Home Catalog
A family business founded in a rural forge in the village of Hasta, outside the town of Arboga in central Sweden. They are the online experts in Made-to-measure products to match the home windows perfectly. Could it be curtains, blackout roller blinds, curtain rails, roll-up curtains, vertical blinds or pleated blinds, they have got them all.
They have so many categories and so many products listed in every category. They were always running into server errors or timeout errors. I had to optimize the search query so the page is not that heavy and only get the necessary data we need.
Their made-to-measure products were variable products. That essentially means that if they have two attributes and 10 values each, that would be 100 variants for one product. So their made to measure products were also crashing and throwing server errors or timeout errors. So I had to build a lookup table with their internal calculations on how they calculate the price of each variant to get rid of thousands of variants for their products and to improve the efficiency and user experience.
The integrated payment gateways had a few problems here and there because of Hasta’s complex calculations. That was part of an ongoing progress to fix all the related issues.
The interface and user experience was also improved a lot with the clients feedback. It’s a multi site so it was a lot of work during my time at Angry Creative. The client was definitely happy with how everything turned out. One of the best clients and people I have ever worked with.
